Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of software development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Ensure effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and project sponsors.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the resolution of conflicts and issues within the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Evaluate and improve project management processes for continuous optimization.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
