Manual QA Tester

Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Manual Tester to join our testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the overall quality of our software products. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of software testing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive manual test plans.
  • Execute manual test cases to verify the functionality and performance of web and mobile applications.
  • Document and report defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in test case design and contribute to the development of test scenarios.
  • Collaborate with automated testing teams to provide feedback on test cases and contribute to automated testing efforts.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve manual testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manual testing methodologies.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester with a strong understanding of manual testing processes.
  • Familiarity with test case design and execution for web and mobile applications.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level) is a plus
  • Knowledge with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
