Backend Developer (Java)

Job Summary

We are in search of a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. The role requires a deep understanding of Java programming, database management, and backend development best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust server-side components using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development principles and conduct thorough testing of server-side code.
  • Design and manage databases, ensuring efficient and secure data storage and retrieval.
  • Work on integrating backend components with front-end technologies and external systems.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with other developers to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in backend development using Java.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Java.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
